Barricade Signage: A Reliable Deterrent Against Loss or Theft of Barricades

There are literally thousands upon thousands of barricades that are used as a form of crowd control. Barriers of this nature often have to be stored between events so as not to disturb the natural layout of a location. The barricades are continuously being rotated for use and larger venues may choose to store several lots together. Since metal barricades often look identical, inventory control is vital. There is a need to segregate the ownership of the barricades in these instances.

This is where barricade signage comes into play. This special signage is utilized by the barricade owners for maintaining control of their inventory. The signs are a primary source of identification to the owner and work well in preventing theft or loss of the barricades between uses. The following are two basic types of Construction Solar Barricade Lights signage/identification with the general purposes of use for each.

In addition to the barrier signage, reflective sheeting can be utilized to enhance visibility. The reflective sheeting comes in rolls of various widths and a variety of bright colors. It is easy to apply and a much better option than paint which is easily worn and offers no night time reflective quality. The reflective sheeting is bright enough to be seen during daylight hours and visible in headlights at night. This type of sheeting is most often found on barricades that are being used for traffic control and parking conditions.

Reflective sheeting is usually placed on each end of the barricade for optimum viewing from either side. It also works well when placed on top of a barricade as a height identifier. Reflective sheeting can also be used on traffic cones used on construction sites or roadways. The sheeting is self adhesive strips with orange and white stripes. The sheeting is available in three grades, engineer grade, high intensity, and diamond grade.
